Crisis has begun its recruitment campaign for 10,000 volunteers to help run their homeless shelters between 23 and 30 december. For me, it's a pleasure to volunteer with others who share the same outlook and i can spread the word about the benefits of donating. In 1971 crisis volunteers hosted our first 'open christmas' with shelter and food for people experiencing homelessness.
