Women’s community shelters (wcs) is an australian charity working directly with local communities to set up crisis accommodation shelters for women and children experiencing homelessness and domestic and family violence. This year’s outreach christmas on dec 17th 2020, is the festive event during a winter season.

Based in our kitchen and dining room, this role involves assisting in the preparation and service of meals, including cleaning up crockery, cutlery, tables, benchtops and preparation equipment. You might be responsible for serving up meals, cooking and preparing food, to helping those new to the. The tranby engagement hub offers a range of crucial support services for people experiencing homelessness.

International volunteer hq’s feeding the homeless project enables volunteers to help provide christmas dinners for community members who may otherwise go without. We couldn’t do what we do without the help of people with time to spare and kindness to share. Youth week celebrates the contribution of young people to the community.
